Dynamics of Nitrogen Gaseous Losses Following the Application of Foliar Nanoformulations to Grasslands

Abstract Increasing rates of nitrogen (N) conventional fertilizer have led to increasing risks N losses the atmosphere, mainly as ammonia (NH 3 ) and nitrous oxide (N 2 O). The aim this study was evaluate effect foliar N-based nanoformulations on dynamics O NH emissions from grasslands. Six treatments (50 kg ha −1 plus a control ( n = 4) were tested completely randomized design: granular urea (Urea-g), dissolved (Urea-d), ammonium nitrate 4 NO ), nitrate-, urea-, ammonium-based (NO -F, Urea-F, -F) applied spray intact soil cores maintained under controlled conditions.
